Opening Minds & Inspiring Wellness
Welcome to Wellheart
At Wellheart, we create a school community that opens minds and inspires wellness, where learning is joyful, immersive, and driven by curiosity. Honoring the 100 languages of children, we celebrate the diverse ways they express, explore, and understand the world around them. Our rigorous, individualized approach to academics supports each child’s growth, preparing them for lifelong learning. Through meaningful experiences rooted in their environment, students develop the skills to think critically, act with empathy, and make informed decisions. Meet the Director of Wellheart
Maggie Van Camp, Ph.D.

Director
Maggie has worked as an educator and researcher for the last 15 years in the Boston area in public schools and higher education focused on the Reggio Emilia approach, executive function, play, wellness, and family social capital.
She believes that children are capable, and learning is most authentic through natural curiosity, and co constructed inquiry. Wellheart Chartered Public School will bring an opportunity for children and families in southern New Hampshire to thrive!

“That the idea of building a school would even occur to ordinary people, women, laborers, workers, farmers, was already traumatic enough. The fact that these same people, with no money, no technical assistance, authorization or committees, no school inspectors or party leaders, were working side by side, brick by brick to construct the building was the second shock. … It turned logic and prejudice, the old rules of pedagogy and culture upside down. It set everything back to square one. ”
